Vortex Tube Applications to Nexflow's Adjustable Spot Cooler Frigid-X

The technology on vortex tubecame in reality during the early 1930's after physicist George Ranque invented the mechanical device quite accidentally. The model back then was rustic and simple.
After a few decades, more and more developments were applied to the device. In 1960's some industrialists discovered that the tool is capable of separating gas compounds, and later on was tested in different channels like water, natural gas, propane gas and steam.
Nowadays, many manufacturers who cater to the industrial needs offer this mechanical device with several revisions making it capable for varied operations and applications.
Nexflow which is known for its quality and reasonably-priced products offers vortex tubetechnology in a new light. Its Adjustable Spot Cooler-Frigid-X™ is a low-cost and maintenance-free spot-cooling system which is capable of producing cold air stream.

The temperature of this spot-cooling system can be regulated through a control valve attached to the hot end tube which responds to the environmental requirements. The temperatures range from -30° Fahrenheit (-34° Celsius) to room temperature, which can be easily determined through a thermometer.

To provide refrigeration, the Adjustable Spot Cooler Frigid-X™ gathers cold air with the aid of a flexible pipe. For portability and easy mounting of the cooler, a magnetic pedestal is used for support.
The Adjustable Spot Cooler Frigid-X™ has three generators made with brass for easy flow rate adjustment to produce 15-30 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) for a chilling condition up to 2,100 BTU/hour (615 Watts). The generator also controls the air consumption of the spot cooler.
Units are also provided with either a single-point hose kit for constrained surface areas or a dual-point kit for wider surface areas. This device is capable of producing a wide range of air stream and temperatures.
The features of Nexflow's Adjustable Spot Cooler Frigid-X™ include: nomoving parts, no electricity usage, compact and lightweight, inexpensive, maintenance-free, creates cold air instantly, magnetic base, interchangeable generators, all metal-parts, and stainless steel body.
Moreover, under 70dBA, tests showed that the Frigid-X™ is continually silent unlike other competitors' products.
The functionality and flexibility of vortex tube in various operations and environments have been proven throughout the years since its initial model was constructed by Ranque.
For a variety of spot-cooling needs using more advanced technologies, the industrial and commercial sectors have found a partner with this little mechanical device, which we might not know, has still a lot to offer for future advancements of various industrial applications and operations especially in cooling.
